Father, I pray that You protect me from the principalities and powers that would try to resist Your will.
I pray that You protect me from my great enemy, the devil. He is so prideful and angry at You for being higher than him, that he opposes anything that is of You. Because of that, he opposes Your people and tries to hurt us. In the name of Jesus, I pray that You protect me from any harm the devil might try to bring me. I also ask for the strength to overcome and the wisdom to escape from any temptations that he might bring before me, that I might persevere.
I pray for protection from the world system that is so opposed to the name of Jesus. Cultures and societies across this world hate the name of Jesus, and persecute Your followers. I am so thankful that I live in a country where I have the freedom to profess Your name, but there are still people across the world who will hate me for Your sake. I pray also for the persecuted church in foreign countries, forced to meet in secret. Bless them and multiply them and be glorified through them.
Lastly, I pray that I would not live by my flesh, but by the Spirit. Do not let me give in to fleshly desires, but let me produce fruit that is in step with Your Spirit. Let Your will be done through my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
